Cambridge textbooks are available on their Aspire website. Use links from Library Search or the Databases A-Z to log in with your @city.ac.uk email and password. This gives you read-only access. If you want to make use of the advanced study tools such as bookmarking, printing and annotations, you will also need a Cambridge account.
If you already have a personal account on Cambridge Core you can use these details.
If you do not have a Cambridge Core account you can register for one on the Aspire website.
Registration
- Log in to Cambridge Aspire.
- Select Register.
- Enter the details required. The organisation name is City University London.
Using advanced study tools
- Log in to Cambridge Aspire.
- Select Log in.
- Select Log in with your Cambridge Core account.
- Enter the email address and password for your Cambridge Core account.
- Search for the textbook you require using the search box.
- Select Read this book online or read online for a particular chapter.
- The book or chapter will then load in a new tab and the advanced study tools will be available.
